Welcome to our FAQ! Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions about our kids' cooking and crafting classes. If you still have questions, feel free to reach out—we're happy to help!

 

General Info

What ages are your classes for?
We offer classes for children ages 6 and up.

 

​Where are the classes held?
All classes take place in our cozy home kitchen in Verrado, Buckeye, AZ. For privacy and safety, the full address will be shared after booking is confirmed.
 

How long are the classes?
Each class is 2 hours long. That includes time to cook and enjoy the delicious results!

 

Before the Class

What should my child bring to class?
Nothing but a smile! We provide all cooking tools, ingredients (organic!) and aprons. We recommend dressing your child in comfortable clothes that can handle a little mess.
 

Do parents stay during the class?
We encourage drop-off, especially for older kids, as it helps them build confidence and independence. However, we completely understand that some parents, especially those with younger children, may feel more comfortable staying. You're welcome to stay if that works best for you and your child!

What if my child has allergies or dietary restrictions?
Please let us know of any allergies or dietary needs at the time of booking. We do our best to accommodate, but our kitchen is not allergen-free, so we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination.

 

Booking & Policies

What is your cancellation policy?
We do not offer cancellations or refunds. However, if you contact us at least 3 days before your class, we’ll happily reschedule your booking based on availability.
No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be issued for schedule changes made within 3 days of the class date.
 

Can Brushes & Bites cancel a class?
Yes. We may cancel a class due to illness, or emergencies. In such cases, you’ll be notified as soon as possible and given the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.

 

Special Events

Do you offer birthday parties or private classes?
Yes! We love celebrating special occasions. Reach out to us to plan a private cooking or crafting class, birthday party, or custom group event that fits your child’s interests.

 

ESA Payments

We’re excited to share that Brushes & Bites is now a ClassWallet-vendor! If you'd like to use your ESA funds to book a class, here's how it works:

1. Choose the class you’re interested in and complete the registration as usual.

2. At checkout, select “Manual Payment” instead of paying online.

3. Send us a quick message letting us know you'd like to use ESA/ClassWallet.

4. We’ll email you an invoice, which you can then upload for Direct Pay on your ClassWallet dashboard.

How can I use ClassWallet to pay the bundle price for 4 classes?
Our website doesn’t currently support manual payments automatically applying the bundle discount. But don’t worry—it’s easy to work around!

1. Add any 4 classes you’d like to your cart.

2. At checkout, use the code "Bundle4" to apply the discounted rate.

3. Choose Manual Payment as your payment method.

4. Complete the checkout process.

After you check out, we’ll email you an invoice that you can upload and pay through ClassWallet.
